• The field of automobiles is one the fast developing fields of present era. Day by day lot of modifications in the technology is introducing. Automotive equipments like jeeps, cars, Truck, Vans, two wheeler, three wheelers etc. are using everywhere in domestic, commercial and industrial fields.production of automobiles and their service centers, research and education institutes need a high number of skilled technicians. In YPSIT a two year craftsman training programs in mechanic motor vehicle is conducted as per DGET norms. During this period a trainee learns about all types of automobile vehicles, their construction details and working of there parts. A trainee also host complete practice to overhaul and maintenance of different types of vehicles in proper supervision and guidance of qualified and experienced instructors and technicians.
• The mechanic motor vehicle workshop comprises 474 sq. meter covered area and 375 sq. meter uncovered floor having all types of servicing and measuring tools, two buses, two heavy trucks, a car, jeep, scooter, front axle assembly, different types of engine including MPFL engine different cut models of engines, two post lift single post lift, tyre changer machine, vavle refacer machine riveting machine, arbor press, car washer, pump, car service station (ramp types), compressors, spark plug cleaning machine, exhaust gas analyzer, vavle timing light, torque wrench, ring compressor, vavle lifter, compression gauge, wheel alignment gauge and many more. student of MMV trade also learns driving of light vehicles in the institute. The institute also help to get learning driving license for the convenience of the trainee.
• After successful completion of the training a trainee may join public or private sectors like Eicher Motors, L&T, Bridgestone, HZL, Railway, Cement industries etc. This trainee is also beneficial in getting self employment otherwise the option to obtain higher education like diploma engineering is also open for them as per the government rule.
