- It is the broadest discipline among all the engineering trades deals with all types of mechanical processes, equipment & their maintenance . it is concerned with all types of machinery in industries and all aspect of their mechanism and functioning, construction, production, installation, operation and maintenance . in any industry from its installation to post production, several types of machineries &mechanical processes are used & all these need a skilled technical who can operate & maintain the machineries using in production process. So a huge demand of fitter technicians is always there in industries.
- During the two years curriculum at YPSIT a trainee learns about all types of mechanical processes, tools, & equipment, lathe machines, welding set ups, drilling, plumbing& forging equipments. The training methodology is completely focused upon the safe work practice & overall development of the trainees. They are also provided advance training on CNC MILLING &on CNC LATHE so that after training they can find comfortable against present modern industries.
- After completion a trainee can any industries having a job like steel fabrication, machine operator, machine maintenance, plumbing, forging etc. or he start his own workshop also .
