Shree Yadupati Singhania Award Function at YPSIT

The entire policy for business development of J K Cement always has been focused on the development of community around its projects. A healthy, vibrant community ensures better standards of living. If our community is stagnant, we stagnate too. With our holistic approach towards social, spiritual and intellectual well-being of communities around us, we make sure that wherever we have, we help the community. We build long-term relationship with people who come into our contact . Our various initiatives include opening up of School, ITIs, Colleges , Universities and adaptation of villages, Govt. ITIs in and around the plant are successfully contributing their services to the society.

To express the honour to our Former Late CMD Mr. Yadupati Singhania and their contributions to the society it was decided to start some awards on his name for distributing to the talented students of villages.

A two days Gramin Pratibha Protsahan Pratiyogita planned and organised at the new green building campus of YPS Institute of Technology Nimbahera . All students of class 9th to class 12th enrolled in government schools located in villages of the Chittorgarh district were invited to participate in following four different competitions .

  • Model competition – General Engineering group
  • Model competition – Environment Group
  • Model competition – Energy conservation Group
  • Science quiz competition .
An exhibition for above handmade science models was also organised in institute premises aiming to provide a common platform to the innovative ideas of students. The exhibition also aimed to provide a medium for popularizing Science and increasing awareness among stakeholders about the close relationship between Science, Technology and Society.

More than 180 students from different schools participated in above competitions to get the awards. Food , accommodations and other facilities during this two days functions for participants ,their teachers and judges were arranged at YPSIT premises.

SDM Nimbahera Delivering Speech

Chittorgarh district collector Mrs. Shivangi Swarnkar inaugurated the event on 14th February 2019 in the presence of Mr. C. L. Jinagar SDM Nimbahera , Mr. S.K.Rathor President (o) J K Cement, Mr. P.C.Bhandari Principal YPSIT and other officers from J K Cement and Govt. Education Deptt.

In her speech collector Mrs. Swarnkar praised this initiative taken by YPSIT to provide the platform for the talented students of villages. She also motivated students to continue their efforts in the field of science and technology and to implement their innovative ideas. Various model competitions were observed and examined by a jury panel of four judges invited from different agencies. A well planned Science Quiz competition with different rounds was also conducted in the presence of professional quiz masters .

  • First Position-Miss Vijay Laxmi , Govt. Sr. Sec.School Chanderiya
  • Second Position –Sh. Rohit Kumawat , Govt. Sr.Sec.School Semliya
  • Third Position – Sh. Pooja Gayari, Govt. Sr.Sec.School Arnoda

Model competition – Energy conservation Group

  • First Position - Sh. Lokesh Ahir, Govt. Sen.Sec.School Fachar Ahiran.
  • Second Position –Sh. Pintu Kumawat , Govt. Sen. Sec. School Bhadesar.
  • Third Position –Sh. Bhagwati Lal Nayak , Govt. Sr. Sec. School Arnoda.

  • Second Position –Govt. Sen. Sec. School Mangrol
  • Third Position –Govt. Sen. Sec. School Ghatiyawali.
 

The competitions and the exhibition concluded next day with Shree Yadupati Singhania Award Ceremony in the presence of Chief guest Mr. Madhav Krishna Singhania special executive J K Cement. Mr. P.C.Bhandari welcomed the chief guest and delivered welcome speech. Chief judges declared the result on the stage in the presence of more than 900 audience including school students, teachers, govt. officers and public leaders sarpanches etc.

Apart from the certificate with an appreciative gift to all participants, the first winners of all four competitions were awarded Rs 31000 each . All four winners who got second positions were awarded Rs 21000 each and all those who got third positions in the four competitions were given Rs 11000 each.

Mr. Madhavkrishna Singhania visited the exhibition and appreciated the innovative ideas of the students and declared to continue this award in future also. To appreciate further above female candidate Miss Vijaylaxmi Bhati , it was announced by Mr. Madhav Krishna Singhaniya the Special Executive J K Cement to survey about the background and future plan of her so that her further progress and achievements can be ensured.

Now she is being provided her complete education at free of cost till she require anywhere in India.

Alumni meet 17 Sept, 2017

The first alumni meet for the first five batches of the institute was organised on very first day of the five days silver jubilee celebration. The alumni attended the function with their family. Nimbahera SDM Mr. C. L. Jinagar was the chief guest and the business head Mr. S.K.Rathore was the special guest at this event.The program started with lighting of lamp followed by felicitation and welcome of all the guests with flower bunch. After formal welcome a brief video presentation showing the past memories of these alumni while they were under training at the institute was shown on LED screen.. Principal Mr. P.C.Bhandari delivered welcome speech and brief about the achievements of the institute during the 25 years. Respected former CMD Mr. Y.P. Singhaniya also delivered a live message to institute and alumni for elevating the name of ITI by their achievements and progress. Mr. Singhaniya also congratulates for organising such a graceful event. Alumni Mr. K.L.Pushkarna (working at Rajasthan Atomic Power Plant) ,Mr.Suresh Chandra Sharma(working at Ajmer Vidhyut Vitaran Nigam Ltd.) and Mr. Rajesh Prajapati(working at Prasar Bharati-Doordarshan) shared their experience of the past and expressed their gratitude to the institute contributing for their career building .Chief guest Mr. Jinagar motivated current trainees to maintain the level set by the alumni. Alumini also felicitated to Mr. P.C.Bhandari who guided them 25 year before in the institute .

Various Cultural programs performed by alumni and trainees made the day vibrant and colourful . The program ended on a graceful note everybody enjoyed thoroughly.

Technofest 18 and 19 Sept, 2017

A Techno Fest was organized by the Institute in which more than 125 working models were exhibited by the existing trainees of the Institute. The Program was inaugurated by Sri Indrajeet Singh, IAS, DM Chittorgarh.

The Chief Guest took a round of the exhibition & enquired technical aspects of the models from the trainees. He also took a round of the workshops of the Institute & appreciated a lot the efforts made by JK organization in the area of skill Development & vocational training.

The Chief Guest also distributed mementos to the existing trainees who had excelled in the last completion organized by the Institute.

The Exhibition was also attended by the Honourable Member of Parliament, Chittorgarh ,Sri C P Joshi, he motivated the trainees & wish them best of luck for the future.

The Students of nearby schools along with their teachers also visited the Techno fest & gathered some technical knowledge.

Cultural Program 20th Sep 2017

A cultural night program was organized by the Institute on 20th sep 2017 with more than 1500 audience consisting of Existing trainees & families, Students & people from nearby villages, Officers & executives from nearby cement Plants, Alumni with their families of YPSIT, Mr. Srichand Kriplani (UDH Minister Rajasthan Govt, Chief Guest), Mr. Madhav Krishna Singhania (Special Executive JK Cement Ltd), Mrs & Mr S K Ratore Unit Head , JK cement Nimbahera Plant), Principal & Teachers from KVV & PVV , and all the staff Memebers of JKIT.

The Chief Guest inaugurated the new building of YPSIT & appreciated the contribution made by CMD JK cement Ltd.

The Program lasted for 3 hours & started with lighting of lamp by chief guest & Ganeh Vandana. The whole cultural event was based on a theme “HUNAR HAI TO KADAR HAI”. The Complete program was well executed by the existing trainees of YPSIT.

Mr. P.C. Bhandari welcomed all the esteemed guest & informed all about the achievement of the Institute in last 25 years.

The Chief guest awarded 18 state toppers of the Institute with memento & also gave long term service award to the 5 employee of the Institute Including Mr. P.C. Bhandari (principal YPSIT). He appreciated the Institute a lot for the efforts in skill development & employment for the needy youth of the region.

He congratulated the Institute & promised to provide any kind of possible help to the Institute required from the Rajasthan Government.

Mr. Singhania congratulated all for the silver jubilee anniversary & appreciated the work done by YPSIT.

Vote of thanks was proposed by Mr.K.L. Joshi, the superintendent of YPSIT.

Closing ceremony 21 Sept. 2017

The sequence of various activities of silver jubilee celebration performed during the four days appreciated and praised by everyone It was sum up with a formal closing ceremony included with cake cutting, games , culture activities and prize distribution. Principal Mr. P.C.Bhandari thanked to all for making the celebration graceful and successful. Business head Mr. S.K.Rathore was the Chief Guest of this closing ceremony.

The five days celebration ended with the thought to accept new challenges and to set the new milestones for the bright future of the institute.

Visits of Foreign Delegation

Due to its better infrastructure and training quality several foreign delegations from Germany, Shri lanka, Switzerland, UAE, Denmark have been visited time to time to see the institute.

The institute is celebrating silver jubilee this year. A five days grand silver jubilee function was organised at institute to acknowledge with thanks the contribution of past members, its well wishers and to celebrate its achievements .So many dignitaries ,ministers, collector, leaders and industry persons attended the various functions at the institute .
